Styrotex as
ICF Building System
The STYROBLOCK is an interlocking hollow building module of Styrotex Expanded Polystyrene. During construction, the STYROBLOCK serves as permanent shuttering by either filling it with a sand-cement mix or concrete, and afterwards provide permanent insulation to the structure.

More about StyroBlocks:
The innovative construction method using polystyrene blocks that interlock much like 'Lego', creating a mould for concrete, has been a hidden gem since the 1970s. This method, known for its simplicity and speed, is finally gaining mainstream recognition.
The Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) system features lightweight, expandable polystyrene (EPS) blocks. These interlocking foam blocks simplify the building process, eliminating the need for mortar found in traditional construction methods.
The walls are easily assembled with these blocks, streamlining the construction process. To ensure stability and strength, the foam panel structure is reinforced with steel rods or Rebar, securing everything in place and providing a durable, energy-efficient building solution.
The benefits include:
-
Speed of construction
-
Simple & easy to understand
-
Energy-efficient
-
Superior strength and soundproofing
-
Design flexibility
